Getting to Know Me ~ 2

Found these questions on one of Katie's posts over at Champagne and Suitcases... and thought I'd answer them myself and share! :)

1. What brings you the greatest joy?
Aaron and the kids, Deedee (fur baby), my parents and sister, my close knit group of friends, and dance class

2. What are your vices?
Graeter’s ice cream, online shopping, and Bravo TV

3. What is on your nightstand?
Acrylic lamp, Buddha, Eucalyptus Spearmint candle (B&BW), Chelsea Hander’s and Mindy Kaling’s books

4. Do you have a secret talent?
None that are secret – I can sing, play the piano, and I am a dancer…but everyone knows about that ;)

5. What is your greatest indulgence?
Fancy pizza from Yellow Brick and high end makeup

6. What should every woman try at least once in their life?
Traveling – get out and see the world! And a proper makeover :)

7. What makes you laugh?
My dog, Aaron, and my bestie Roxanne (makes me laugh harder than anyone I’ve ever met...and will kill me for sharing this picture!)

8. What is the one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
Hmm, don't know if there is anything surprising...I have dual citizen ship with the USA and Scotland, Aaron is 11 years older than me, I was a teacher before transitioning into the business world (I hated teaching) haha!

9. What is on your bucket list?
Trips to Greece, Hawaii, and Europe

10. What is on your feet right now?
Wedges

11. How did you make your first dollar?
Allowance, or babysitting

12. What superstition do you believe in?
Full moon / lunar effect

13. What items in your closet do you wear the most?
Maxi skirts and dresses

14. What is the best gift you ever received?
Diamond Tiffany earrings from Aaron and painting of me with my late grandpa when I was a baby (from my Grandma)

15. What is on your liquor shelf?
Vodka, vodka, more vodka

16. What is on your kitchen counter?
Peaches, spices / seasoning, Sriracha, Keurig, and a big tub of protein (Aaron’s)

17. What would you never leave home without?
My iPhone

18. What movie has the greatest ending?
Ugh this is a hard one…The Goonies, Monty Python and the Holy Grail...although what usually makes a good ending to me is resolution ;) I don't like when movies end unresolved.

19. Who is on the guest list of your ideal dinner party?
My group of best friends, and if we are throwing celebs in the mix…Jennifer Aniston (I honestly believe we would be bffs ;), SJP, Lenny Kravitz, Coldplay, Ziggy Marley, Jason Bateman, I could go on and on :)

20. What is one thing you wish you had known when you were younger?
Don’t let a boyfriend hold you back (big mistake I made in college – but you live and learn) and to make better decisions in my undergrad major and once graduating, so I could be further along in my career now (aka go straight to grad school instead of floating for 2 years)!

  9. BRAVO TV - once I start I can't stop. You have dual citizenship?! That is definitely interesting...and also makes sense since you say "mum" ;) hahaha
