Recent Empties
Happy Monday friends!
I wanted to share some cruelty free beauty products that I have recently finished up using. There were quite a few things over the past month that I was not really impressed with, but that's part of the game isn't it? Trail and error. Of course, just because something didn't work for me, doesn't mean it will be that way for everyone! I definitely believe in trying things out for yourself ;)
HANA Organic Skincare Eye Oil //
I have had this product for awhile - I received it in a Petit Vour Box last year and I hadn't gotten around to using it on a regular basis. But after having Marin, I quickly realized my under eye area needed some major TLC. I have been using it every night for the past couple weeks and it has really been making a difference! It is very nourishing, leaving my skin hydrated and I swear it is helping keep the dark circles (from lack of sleep) at bay!
Mineral Fusion Intense Hydration Face Cream //
This face cream is so perfect for my dry skin! I use it in the mornings before makeup application to moisturize and prime my skin before putting on foundation. It isn't greasy at all, but gives great hydration to my skin. It isn't quite thick enough for a night time cream (for my skin), but it has been working great for my daytime routine. I have already repurchased it too!
Pacifica Dream Big Mascara //
I had high hopes for this mascara after many rave reviews online. I liked it at first, but quickly changed my mind. The wand is very innovative - changing size to give volume or length, but it doesn't quite execute as well as I would have hoped. I like big full lashes, and never felt like I could get enough product on them with this mascara. I also felt like it didn't give me the jet black color that I like to have.
Sonia Kashuk Undercover Liquid Concealer //
I should learn my lesson with click up cosmetic products...I just don't like them, and probably never will. They are frustrating and I feel like they get used up so quickly. Aside from the annoyance of the clicking, this concealer fell short for me too. It wasn't particularly hydrating or brightening...and I felt that once I added setting powder, it looked dull and patchy. Definitely won't be repurchasing.
Pacifica Underarm Deodorant Wipes //
I put these in my hospital bag for when I had Marin because they seemed like they would be very convenient and refreshing. I wasn't wrong about the refreshing part, and they smell amazing... but unfortunately they just do not work on me. Within almost no time after applying, I felt that I needed to use an actual deodorant stick. Whomp whomp.
I've never tried any of these products! I know you're always so conscious of the products you use so I'll definitely be looking into these! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI always love these posts! It's such a bummer about the concealer pen, I think under eye products are some of the hardest to get right!
